moreIn 2020, Moscow celebrates its 873rd birthday. All festive events will take place on September 5 and 6, according to the order of the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin. The main events will be organized in parks and cultural institutions, since restrictions on large-scale events have been introduced in the capital.
Trade and fair complex "Moscow", as an important component of the city infrastructure, is annually transformed using a special design with conceptual symbols of Moscow. Vivid visual images appear on information carriers; entrance groups of the shopping complex are also decorated. Traditionally, holiday flags are set on flagpoles in front of the main building of the Trade and fair complex.
During the holidays, congratulations on the City Day and a special selection of famous music hits about Moscow will sound on the radio air of the complex. The theme of the celebration this year will be "Museums of Moscow". Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to visit 90 Moscow museums and exhibition halls free of charge. On all video screens in the trade and fair complex "Moscow" holiday videos will be broadcast, in which the heads of the famous museums of the capital congratulate everyone on this significant event.
